Developer's log 12
Hi... Hi after one full year!
Last time I said the game will be released by the end of the year - obviously it didn't - but it is DONE!
Game is in testing, the game is a bit bigger than expected, more polished, has a lot more dialogues and small cutscenes... so I hope the effort will be worth it!
Saving princess of Mars will be released on Itch.io (obviously), Steam and Switch first. Also it will be released on PS5 and Xbox, but I can't tell when because first I need to get a slot with the company that prepares projects for consoles - this job is a lot more complicated than people are presuming - and then I need to get a release slot on consoles.
It will probably be out on PS5 before Xbox, since Microsoft is very slow in testing, but who knows...
So... those are the plans. After testing and eventual fixes everything is out of my hands. What I know for sure is that the game will be released here, on Itch.io, as soon as testing and fixing is done, since I'm putting it here personally.
An afterthought - there is also a localization that needs to be made too… I don’t expect any problems with it, but again - time is difficult to define.
In reality I can release the game in English and Croatian on itch.io and update it once localization for other languages is done.
Hm… I’ll probably do that.
